RFQ Engineering - Barton Drive - Johnson Drive to 60th Street

Consultants will be notified via e-Builder as soon as the proposals have been reviewed and the selection process is complete. The Contract shall be awarded by the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of the Shawnee Governing Body. Engineering Consulting Firms must have an office within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and be familiar with the City of Shawnee. The project will consist of the following: survey (not AIMS), design, and development of plans/contract documents for rehabilitation of Barton Street in three sub-project phases. This work will include construction items such as grading, new asphalt pavement, storm sewer improvements, new LED street lighting, new curb, sidewalk, and ADA ramps, signing, and pavement markings. Engineering Consultants shall provide ALL necessary documents requested to be consider a complete submittal. Hard copies of the proposals shall be submitted to the City as indicated on the eBuilder website. An officer of the firm making such proposalshall properly execute all forms(if applicable). RFQ submittals received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposal submittals and to waive informalities or irregularities of the submittals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
