Prime Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. The following DPMC-Classified Trade(s) and License(s) may be required by the Overall Prime Bidder and/or their subcontractors: C008 General Construction C009 General Construction/Alterations and Additions. C032 Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR). All bids received at the designated location on or before the designated time and date in this advertisement (or any addenda hereto), shall be opened and read publicly at the above time and date. The Bidder assumes full responsibility for appropriate delivery (via whatever means, including mail) on or before the designated time and to the designated location. The District is not responsible for any bids that fail to be delivered on or before the designated time, and to the designated location specified by this advertisement, regardless of fault. Electronic (e-mail) submissions will not be accepted. Bidders shall note that the North Hanover Board of Education, SCHILLER & HERSH ASSOCIATES, INC. and its consultants shall not be responsible for the Bidder's procurement of the Bidding Documents from third party agencies as the information and documents provided by these agencies may be incomplete and/or inaccurate. Sealed bids shall be received as a SINGLE CONSTRUCTION contract for all work, goods and services required to complete the project. The bid must identify the name or names of all subcontractors to whom the Prime Bidder will subcontract the furnishing of: (1) Plumbing and Gas Fitting; (2) Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; (3) Electrical Work, including any electrical power plant, tele-data, fire alarm, or security system; (4) Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron Work, and (5) General Construction ("Prime Subcontractors"). Each of the Prime Subcontractors shall be qualified in the same manner as the Prime Bidder, in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. If none are required, the Prime Bidder shall input "None" on the List of Subcontractors.
