RFQ - Engineering and Consultant Services

The Town of Bedford, New Hampshire wishes to engage the services of qualified professional engineering firm(s) to provide necessary services related to roadway, structural, survey, traffic, geotechnical, and environmental, design, and construction engineering services. Each firm submitting qualifications statements must be lawfully engaged in the practice of Professional Engineering in the State of New Hampshire within the specific disciplines requested herein. Firms experienced with NHDOT municipally-managed projects are highly desirable. Project related questions should be directed to the Town Engineer, Jeanne Walker at jwalker@bedfordnh.org. January 24, 2023 Last date for questions to be submitted to Town. The Town of Bedford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all qualification statements or any part thereof, and to waive any minor informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town also reserves the right to conduct reasonable negotiations with low bidders and sole bidders. Failure to submit all information may declare the proposal as nonresponsive and subject to disqualification. The Town has the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part if it is deemed to be in the Town's interest to do so. All Requests for Qualifications submission materials become the property of the Town of Bedford. Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the Town of Bedford, NH (Town) is soliciting submission of qualifications from qualified consulting firms licensed to do business in the State of New Hampshire for professional services needed by the Town to plan, design, permit, construct and inspect civil engineering infrastructure projects in the Town. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFQ or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued and posted on the Town's website. Any published addenda to the RFQ and the Proposer's Response will become part of the Contract between the Town of Bedford and the successful proposers over the next five years. Questions requiring clarification shall be submitted in writing to the Town prior to the date indicated in the schedule, in order to afford the Town adequate time to respond with a correction or additional information prior to the deadline for submission of qualifications. Questions shall be submitted to Town Engineer, Jeanne Walker at jwalker@bedfordnh.org. The "Awarding Authority" will be the Town of Bedford, 24 North Amherst Road, Bedford, NH 03110. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
