Description

**As of August 22, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in sometime between December 2022 and March 2023** The District is partnering with San Mateo County to reopen Alpine Road as a regional trail connection between Portola Valley and Skyline Blvd/Highway 35. The purpose of this project is to stabilize the Lower Alpine Road Regional Trail located at Alpine Road/Ciervos Road. The scope of work includes the construction of a soldier pile wall and pin pile wall, inlet and culvert installation, grading for drainage and erosion control, selective demolition of site furnishings, tree protection and tree removal, and the installation of a gate and fencing.
