Installation of New Water Meters with Radio Communication

Project generally consists of the replacement of approximately 1,500 aged and obsolete water meters within the Borough of Florham Park. a Contractor/Installer will install replacement water meters within the interior of a home, with a remote receptacle and a radio transmitter connected by cable at exterior locations on the home as directed by the Florham Park Water Utility. Water meters will vary in size from 5/8" to 2" in diameter. The Borough of Florham Park`s Water Utility shall provide the water meters, remote receptacles, cable, and electronic connectors as required for a complete installation. The Contractor/Installer shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, meter seals, and transportation necessary to install and test water meters and remote recepticals including, but not limited to, meter manufacturer`s tools for checking readings and account numbers. The Contractor/Installer must provide Project Management Software and an Integrated Customer Portal for the Borough`s Utility with access to every customer`s account being handled by the Contractor/Installer.
