RFP - Affordable Housing Developers

The City of Syracuse ("City") is seeking qualified real estate developers interested in increasing the housing stock within the city limits. Successful respondents to this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") will sufficiently demonstrate the ability to provide newly constructed homes for first-time homebuyers, newly developed rental units (with priority on affordability), and/or rehabilitation of existing housing units to address substandard quality issues. Additionally, qualified developers will have: knowledge of affordable housing development, experience with various public and private funding sources, and demonstrated ability to comply with government or government-backed loans. Respondents with a successful development track record in Onondaga County will be prioritized in this RFQ.
