Y--Organ Mountain Pavement Fog Seal

Work under this contract is located on the east and west side of the Organ Mountains near Las Cruces in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. The work site is at the Aguirre Springs, Dripping Springs, and La Cueva Recreation Areas. Work requirements for this contract is to provide labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for applying fog seal to approximately 60,000 feet road with varying widths, and approximately 51,000 square feet of parking areas, pull-outs and campground roads. Work also includes re-striping pavement on roadway and in parking areas, and all other work necessary to increase the longevity of the assets being improved or maintained. Dripping Springs Road cattle guards, taper approaches to create a smooth transition. The work includes clearing and grubbing vegetation from the ditches, shoulders, and pavement. Cleaning and shaping borrows and turnout ditches, shoulders, and culverts end.
