Description | The Annisquam River portion of the FNP consists of an 8-foot mean lower low water (MLLW) channel that is 60 feet wide from Western Harbor to the B&M Railroad Bridge, then 100 feet wide to the River's mouth and 200 feet wide across the bar in Ipswich Bay. The project was amended to include a 17.3- acre anchorage, which is at 8-foot MLLW in Lobster Cove, near the head of navigation in Ipswich Bay. The proposed solicitation would consist of dredging approximately 139,000 cubic yards (cy) of sand to remove shoals from the channel, and part of Lobster Cove anchorage, with placement of the dredged material at Ipswich Bay Nearshore Disposal Site or Gloucester Historic Disposal Site. | ||
