Mini Blinds

Scope of Work: 1. Offeror shall furnish complete blinds along with all necessary mounting and blind operating hardware. Blinds shall have a steel head rail with vinyl or aluminum slats. Steel shall be coated with a baked-on finish color that coordinates with the color of the slats. The head rail shall be steel; no vinyl head rails will be accepted or considered as a substitute. 2. Dimension required is forty-four and one-half inches wide by eighty-seven inches high (44.5”w X 87”h) along with sixty inch (60”) wands. Dimensions are outside to outside of the blind head rail; the stated width of the blinds is a net/finished measurement. DO NOT subtract one-half inch (0.5”) from stated measurements. 3. Quantity required is eight hundred (800) 4. Blinds must be able to be surface mounted and not strictly recessed mounted. 5. Mini blind head rail shall be ‘U’ shaped steel, nominally one inch (1”) high by one inch (1”) wide, and include all hardware enclosed in head rail. The steel shall be coated with a baked-on finish color that coordinates with the color of the slats. 6. Slats are to be vinyl or aluminum with a "snap back" crease free and kink free resistance. Nominal one inch (1”) wide by 0.016” thick, crowned to ensure tight closure and eliminate sag. Edges shall be rounded and free from burrs. Appearance shall be a matt finish. 7. Guardian tilter shall be a steel housing with self-lubricating nylon automatically disengaging worm & gear mechanism to eliminate overdrive. 8. Cord lock shall be 0.031” thick coated steel, crash proof. Steel shall be coated with a baked-on finish color that coordinates with the color of the slats. 9. Cord shall be braided polyester jacket with filler 0.05” diameter and color coordinated to slats. 10. Cord shall measure 50% of the length of the blind in the lowered position and shall be mounted on the right side as you face the blind. Cord pull to be molded vinyl, color coordinated to match the slats. 11. Drums and cradles shall be provided with each ladder. Drums are to be made of engineered polymer and cradles of 0.042” coated steel. Steel shall be coated with a baked-on finish color that coordinates with the color of the slats.
