Description

Install new 200 KW/250 KVA (208/120 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire) Diesel Generator with a Sound Attenuated (NEMA-3) Enclosure, a 24-Hour Fuel Tank and an Automatic Transfer Switch - ATS (see attached Equipment Schedule). The new Generator shall be placed on the new concrete pad at Utility Station #4 location utilizing the existing underground feed to 10LDP panel conduit and conductors from the existing 300 kVA transformer and routing that power feed from LV terminals to ATS normal input by way of 2 sets of 3 1/2 inch conduits with conductors, and connecting Load output from ATS to the 600 Amp input CB in the 10LDP panel. The ATS shall be located directly next the 300 KVA LV Terminal box. Next installing the new power output from the new 200 kW to the Emergency input of the ATS by way of installing new underground conduit and conductors. All work shall be peformed by Unit Maintenance with Regional Maintenance Oversite to assure the TDCJ Engineering Guidelines and the 2017 National Electrical Code(s) (NEC) is met.
