Locust Trace Agri-Science Center Commissioning

The purpose of the commissioning process is to provide the owner/operator of the facility with a Post-Construction occupancy baseline of how the Building Envelope is performing per the guidelines set out for Frederic k Douglass HS completed & occupied in 2017. The Commissioning Authority (CxA) shall provide the owner with an unbiased, objective view of the building envelope system’s installation, operation, and performance. i. This process is intended to enhance the quality of performance, and aid the Owner in assessing where & what elements may need to be addressed postoccupancy that supports the priority of this facility performing as a Net Zero or Net Positive Building in keeping with its original design & construction goals, and for the beneficial use by Owner & Students.
