Description

Construction of a replacement natural gas main pipeline parallel with widening of West Mud Valley Road near Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma, according to Drawing and Specifications prepared by Small Arrow Engineering, LLC. This project is associated with Cherokee Nation Department of Transportation Project Number CN-0902/0938- 13. NOPFA hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated on the grounds of race, color, sex, or natural origin in consideration for an award. NOPFA hereby notifies all bidder that the wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and set forth in the appendices of the Project Manual. Federal wage rates as per the Davis Bacon Act, Construction Type - Heavy as required for Cherokee County, Oklahoma are applicable and included. Contractors are generally required to pay at least the applicable minimum wage rate under Executive Order 14026 or Executive Order 13658. This contract is also subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962", (P.L. 87-581:76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations.
