Description | Milwaukee Public Schools will receive sealed quotations for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary, including public liability and property damage insurance to perform all work necessary and incidental to the Recreation Garage - Power and Lighting Upgrades for Hawthorn Glen, 1130 N. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53208. The are no HUB, Student Employment / Participation requirements for this request for quotation. All questions should be submitted in writing prior to 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 to DFMSProcurement@milwaukee.k12.wi.us. No questions will be answered after that date and time. No questions will be answered verbally. No verbal information from any source is to be relied upon by any respondent in the development of their response to the RFP. Written questions and responses will be documented by way of addenda, which will be forwarded to all bidders. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being issued by the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Division of Facilities and Maintenance Services (DFMS) to furnish all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to bring new electrical service and lighting/power upgrades to the Recreation Garage at Hawthorn Glen, per the following summary, specifications and drawings/photos: A. Scope of Work Details: 1. Contractor to locate, procure, deliver, and install all electrical/lighting equipment and ensure all elements are properly functioning per plans/exhibits, details, and specifications. 2. Contractor to coordinate with WE Energies on new service installation, including submitting the new electric service change request application immediately upon contract approval. 3. WE Energies to install new service meter pedestal, and Contractor to complete all necessary connections, testing, and ensure all inspections requirements are met by both the City of Milwaukee and MPS inspectors. 4. Install dedicated conduit from panel to new overhead door motor. 5. Install shown GFCI convenience receptacles. Receptacles to be on a 20A/120V circuit. 6. Install shown exterior cut-off LED above overhead garage door and timeclock. 7. Install shown LED high-bay light fixtures within garage. Lighting to be controlled via occupancy sensor and wall switch. 8. Provide, install, and ensure proper functioning of all items shown in plans in specs. |
