Description

For Prequalification of Bidders - Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) Expansion Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 03/10/2023 10:00 AM (PST) The existing Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) is an extended aeration, California Title 22 wastewater treatment facility designed for nitrification/denitrification and phosphorus removal. The current plant capacity is 8.0 million gallons per day (mgd),annual average flow, and can support 17.6 mgd during peak wet weather flow events. The RWRF consists of two liquid treatment trains (designated as Train A & Train B) with combined solids dewatering. RWRF Expansion Project work includes the following: 1. Influent Pump Station Expansion: The contractor shall be capable of expanding the existing influent pump station to 30 mgd capacity, including two new submersible pumps, replacement of existing chamber isolation stop plates with automated sluice gates, bridge crane over the influent wet well, replacement and relocation of influent sampler, and new discharge piping to include flowmeter and bypass. Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 2-1-2023.
