Description | The Granite Street and South Willow Street Signals project involves provision of a new Econolite Centracs Mobility central management system (CMS) in Manchester, NH by means of a newly constructed and interconnected signal system along Granite Street using adaptive (cycle/split/offset) signal control technology (ASCT) through existing twisted pair copper cable upgraded to provide a minimum of a 100 Mbps communications through copper Ethernet switches and constructing a new hybrid fiber optic and wireless signal system replacing the existing straight lay copper cable along South Willow Street that will provide signal performance measures (SPMs) to the system to modify corridor splits and offsets at signalized intersections. The project area limits include the 6 existing signalized intersections along Granite Street between South Main Street and Elm Street, and up to 17 existing signals along South Willow Street between Perimeter Road and South Beech Street. There will not be a pre-bid meeting. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to check for any addendums that have been issued. Questions received less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Bidders will be required to furnish a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The project is to be completed within 365 calendar days from a written Notice of Award. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is deemed most favorable to the interest of the City of Manchester.
