| Description | Perform monthly and annual inspections of fire extinguishers in DOE's Forrestal Building, Forrestal Child Development Center (CDC), Germantown Campus (main building, auditorium, boiler house, radio building, CDC, old equipment shed and new equipment shed), 20300 Century Boulevard (Corporate 270) for a total of 11 buildings in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association Standard for the installation of Portable Fire Extinguishers (NFPA-10). In addition, perform monthly and semiannual inspections of the kitchen/cafe hood fire suppression systems in DOE's Forrestal Building, and Main Germantown Building in accordance with NFPA 17A-Standard for Wet Chemical Systems, NFPA 96-Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations. There are approximately 680 fire extinguishers and three hood fire suppression systems to be inspected. |
