Description | **As of October 4, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $538,476.06** For the Various Streets: 2021 Road Improvement Project The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. The major work to be performed under the base bid of the contract includes the installation of approximately 22,015 square yards of milling; 1,142 linear feet of concrete curbing; 142 square yards of concrete sidewalk, 539 square yards of pavement repair; 2,994 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course; 781 linear feet of striping/markings and other incidental work. An Alternate Bid will also be received for installation of approximately 5,150 square yards of milling; 185 linear feet of Belgian block and concrete curbing; 57 square yards of concrete sidewalk, 125 square yards of pavement repair; 693 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course; 571 linear feet of striping/markings and other incidental work. Please be advised that project is funded in part by both Community Development Block Grant funds and New Jersey Department of Transportation municipal aid funds. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. N.J.A.C. 17:27 and the requirements of P.L. 1975 c. 127 (Affirmative Action). Bidders shall also comply with P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.). Bidders are required to comply with Executive Order #34 (1976) debarred vendors. Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids or any or all items in the proposal; to increase or decrease or eliminate such items as may be necessary for the adoption of any alternate; to accept that one which, in its judgment, best serves its interest; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder. |
