Description | Question Acceptance Deadline 02/27/2023 06:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department desires to upgrade the current chlorine gas and liquid caustic soda chemical systems to tab feed systems for four (4) pool facilities in the City. The equipment should be able to meet total gallons as listed for each pool in the Scope of Service and shall include both tab feed chlorine and tab feed pH systems to all locations. This specification is intended to define the minimum requirements for chlorine and pH tab feed system at four (4) facilities for the City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Pools. Submitted prices are to include all charges for equipment, administration, labor, materials, shipping/handling, delivery, unloading, and insurance necessary to supply the commodity as listed within this Invitation for Bid. o Additionally, bidders may provide cost of chlorine and pH tabs for a pricing agreement term of three (3) years with option to renew in two (2) annual terms. o The equipment award determination will be based on availability, pricing, delivery, etc. as best meets the needs of the City of Pueblo; the supply award determination will be based on current and future availability, pricing, order/delivery process, etc. o Workmanship and material to be first quality throughout; in the absence of comment on particular points, industry standard practice should be presumed to prevail. All standard factory equipment shall be included; no deletions of standard factory equipment will be permitted unless specifically superseded in these specifications. Accessories not specifically mentioned herein, but necessary to furnish complete units ready for use, shall also be included. Locations o City Park Pool located in Pueblo City Park at 221 S. Parkside Ln., Pueblo, CO, 81005 (269,000 gallons) o Ray Aguilera Pool located in Bessemer Park at 843 W. Northern Ave., Pueblo, CO, 81004 (269,000 gallons) o Mineral Palace Pool located in Mineral Palace Park at 1602 N. Santa Fe Ave., Pueblo, CO, 81003 (341,000 gallons) o Mitchell Pool located in Mitchell Park at 1040 N. La Crosse Ave., Pueblo, CO, 81001 (102,000 gallons) o Note: All four (4) pools are outdoors and operate approx. four (4) months per year |
