West Colvin Street Over Onondaga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project

The project scope of work includes: Removal and replacement of the existing bridge joint; Concrete repairs to the bridge substructures; Bridge bearing replacement (fixed and expansion bearings Bridge’s structural deck partial depth repairs; Removal and replacement of the existing bridge deck wearing surface with a new dense concrete wearing surface overlay; Removal and replacement of stone bridge curbs; Protective sealing of substructure concrete, sidewalks, and fascia; Localized structural steel painting (beam ends); Removal and replacement of the bridge railing; Milling and paving bridge approaches; Removal and replacement of the existing 8-inch water service attached to the underside of the bridge structure; Removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials (pipe wrap).
