Description | This project includes Chip Sealing Sandberg Road (approximately 19,400 linear feet in length). The selected contractor is expected to: 1. Hand Patch Prior to Chip Sealing - All potholes and minor dips and depressions shall be hand patched with cold mix asphalt to the level of the existing pavement. 2. Chip Seal with 100% fractured 3/8" washed dark granite chips and PG 58-28 5% cut back liquid asphalt 3. All existing asphalt shall be single chip sealed. 4. Follow existing street dimensions (width and length) All work shall be in accordance with the requirements of Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure, 2020 Edition or its latest revision. Bids shall be submitted and in accordance with Bidding Requirements prepared by the Town of North Bend. Bids shall be directed to the Town of North Bend Clerk, c/o Sarah Henderson N17278 County Road T, Galesville, WI 54630. The bid shall be securely sealed and endorsed on the outside wrapper as "Sandberg Road Chip Seal." Time is of the essence. All bids shall specify when work will be completed and the Town reserves the right to not award work based on the lowest total bid price. The Town may decide to award the work to a contractor with an earlier finish date and slightly higher total bid price. Successful Bidders Must agree to: 1. Comply with minimum wage requirements in effect for the State of Wisconsin. 2. Submit a current Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 General Liability Limit and State required limits for Workers Compensation. The Town of North Bend reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Town of North Bend.
