Description

Work of the Project includes: Pre-cleaning of pipe segments and removal of internal debris; pre & post CCTV inspection and recording; CIPP rehabilitation of existing 18-inch diameter ductile iron gravity backwash line and; reinstatement of connections, and ancillary mechanical work needed to complete the project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prospective Bidders may examine bidding documents, at the Engineering Department, 2nd floor of the City Building located at 300 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN 46750, Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Lochmueller Group, 3502 Woodview Trace, Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46268. Contact Crystal Record at 317-222-3880 or crystal.record@lochgroup.com, prior to arriving onsite. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office, by appointment only, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Huntington further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder, all to the advantage of the City of Huntington, or to reject all bids The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
