Truckee Meadows Community College - Child Care Center Heat Pump Replacement

Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Removal and Replacement of the heat pumps and water heaters in the Child Care Center on the TMCC Dandini Campus. The scope of work is represented by the plans designed by Petty & Associates and reviewed by SPWD 23-B048. The newer controls for heat pumps will be reutilized in this project but will need to be programmed to work with the new equipment. Estimated Cost Range: $200,000 - $300,000 Liquidated Damages: $500/day Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Contractor's Pollution Liability and Builders Risk Insurance will be required. Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "September 19, 2023" and shall be fully complete by "March 31, 2024."
