Demolition and Replacement of Baseball Dugouts

The work consists of, but is not limited to, the demolition and replacement of three baseball dugouts, as listed within the specifications. Description of the work to be performed: 1. Supply labor, equipment, materials, supplies, debris removal and insurance to demolish and rebuild 3 Baseball Dugouts. Specifically, the 3rd base line dugout on the Clove Road side, and both dugouts at the field towards the Bronx River Parkway. 2. All 3 dugouts should be reconstructed with cinderblock / cement, with wooden rooves and asphalt shingles pitched to the rear. Bidders should use the 1 st base side dugout at the field closest to Clove Road as a template. 3. The two dugouts at the field closest to the Bronx River Parkway should be brought up to grade prior to being rebuilt. All current materials should be excavated and removed, being brought to grade with dirt and gravel to allow for drainage. Ultimately, the dugouts should be rebuilt at grade on top of a 6 inch mesh reinforced concrete slabs. 4. Contractors should supply and install mesh netting to the existing fences in front of the raised dugouts to a height equal to the highest point on the new rooves. 5. Restoration to all disturbed areas surrounding courts with top soil & seed. 6. Any specifications included or not included must meet or exceed current construction industry standards. Final products will be subject to building department review / approval.
