Description

The purpose of this contract is to replace the existing five Ton Liebert AC condensing unit and AHU Model No. PFH067A-AL3, Serial No. 0738N154760 and install a matching unit in the same location. The contractor will need to rent a crane to lift the new condensing unit on to the roof and install the new condensing unit and AHU on the same location. The contractor will connect the units to the existing line set and electrical power supply and ducting. The contractor will vacuum the system to 500 microns, and charge the system with Refrigerant R-407C. Additionally the Contractor will start the unit and check for proper operation. The unit will be delivered with a communication card for BMS so that it can be controlled and can communicate with our existing Energy Management System. The Contractor shall provide a removal plan and drawing that identifies the existing HML Five ton LIEBERT System that shall be dismantled and removed from the facility. Plans and drawings will be provided showing every building, piping, and electrical modifications that shall be required. The Contractor shall shut down and remove the Five Ton LIEBERT System. Fire protection requirements during the removal and replacement of the Five Ton LIEBERT System equipment shall address any acetylene, welding, brazing, and soldering equipment or other potential fire ignition sources. Those types of equipment shall not be used on the job site until a fire watch program has been submitted by the Contractor and approved by the HML Lab Manager, the Contracting Officer (CO), and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
