Debordieu ASR Recondition and Repair

The work of this section includes furnishing and installing materials for operation of Debordieu ASR Well located in Debordieu Colony, Georgetown, SC. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications, and the recommended practices of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), EPA and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC). Existing ASR Well configuration consist of recovering and recharging using a single 4” pipe. Recondition of ASR Well consist of piping a separate recharge line into the wellhead and using a 2” flex hose down into the well casing. Recovery of surface water injection shall be a standalone 4” Boreline hose at pumping level of 333 feet. Current pump, motor, and piping has been removed from the ASR Well. Most current TV inspection indicated a potential hole at 489’ down the well casing. Well diameter is 8” reduced to 6” at 496’. Most recent inspection of the Debordieu ASR Well attached. Well profile attached which includes screen depths. Contractor shall perform TV inspection for current condition of ASR Well. The recondition and repair of Debordieu ASR Well shall use existing pipe and conduit to the extent desired by the Contractor provided the installation meet all existing well installation requirements. Contractor shall use existing 4” pump for well installation.
