Probation Housing Vendor Pool

It is the intent of these specifications, terms and conditions to describe housing services being requested by the Alameda County Probation Department (ACPD). The goal of the housing vendor pool is to assist Realignment clients in securing stable transitional housing. The housing pool will also provide immediate assistance to participants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services available may include: housing case management, emergency shelter, transitional housing, assistance securing long-term housing and short-term rental assistance, if needed. Flexibility allows responsiveness to the needs of participants. Referrals to the Program are made by Deputy Probation Officers ("DPOs") within the ACPD. The County intends to award one-year contracts (with options to renew) to the initial pool of pre-qualified bidders who meet the Vendor Qualification Criteria as described in this RFQ. The decision as to what constitutes a minor irregularity shall be made solely at the discretion of the County.
