FSH National Cemetery Road Repair and Restroom Construction

This project includes the construction of a restroom building and road renovation and repair. The current restroom at the administration is limited in size and does not provide adequate service to the veterans and their families. This project will provide a full design to construct new a public restroom building at the rear of the cemetery. The asphalt roads within the cemetery have become severely deteriorated and there are large areas where the underlying subgrade has completely failed or is failing. This project will make the necessary repairs and replace or resurface the roadways to increase their lifespan by more than 20 to 30 years. In addition, the recently completed cemetery construction project has damaged the roadways more than the normal visitor and cemetery staff traffic in this portion of the cemetery due to the use of heavy equipment and delivery trucks for the project.
