Detention Facility Plumbing Improvements

Sealed Bids will be received by Grundy County, Illinois for Grundy County Detention Facility Plumbing Improvements and is further described as follows: Project includes, but not limited to, removal of existing water supply and waste piping, saw-cutting and removal of 8" thick reinforced walls for plumbing equipment installation, installation of shower and combination fixtures, LED surface mounted light fixtures, re-installation of new supply and waste piping and interior painting. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Steel Products Procurement Act. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Grundy County. Bids may be held by Grundy County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding
