2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue Water Main Replacement

The work involves the furnishing of all labor, tools, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 1,566 linear feet of six inch C-900 PVC water main and to provide water service connections to approximately 20 properties to the right of way. Work will also include abandoning the existing water mains. All of the materials required for the water main replacement have already been purchased by the Authority. There will be two (2) wet taps required; one will be at the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Ave, and the second will be at the intersection of Perkiomen Ave and 3rd Ave. There is one approximately 200 foot section that will be eight (8) inch HDPE and will need to be directionally drilled under an existing culvert in 2nd Ave. Restoration will include only base course as the Township will be paving the roads in the fall of 2021. All work is performed for the Schwenksville Borough Authority and is located in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
