Driving Range Netting

There are currently 7) 50 above grade wood utility poles at 50 on center. At 300 feet from the tee box there are 6) 75 steel poles. Wood poles: Leave the first pole as is, remove the following 6 wood poles. It is acceptable to remove 6-8 of topsoil, cut the pole below grade and backfill to original grade. Or the pole can be completely pulled out and then backfilled. Steel poles: Furnish and install 12) 100 high steel poles. Beginning 25 from the remaining 50 wood pole, the new 100 poles shall be set at 50 intervals for a span of 550. After the first 300 the pole will set in line with the existing (6) 75 poles. All new cable net and hardware shall be furnished and attached as follows. Section 1, 50 to 100 x 25 wide Sections 2-7) sections of 100 high x 50 wide. Sections 7-11) 100 high x 50 wide utilizing the now centered 75 pole. Section 12) 100 tapered down to 75 to complete the span. Poles and foundations shall be designed and built to engineers specifications and local building code. The successful bidder will furnish drawings and calculations stamped by a PA PE. This project involves the construction of 100' utility poles and netting for the Driving Range at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course, 3400 Tilghman Street, Allentown, Pa 18104.
