Description | The contractor shall accomplish the removal/disposal of existing and installation of new flooring in the requested offices of Building 486 located on Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. In Accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Successful offerer shall complete work by 60 days After Receipt of Order (ARO). A site visit will be held on Tuesday, 30 May at 11 AM CST in Building 486. While attendance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. Please arrive at the Tyndall Air Force Base Visitor's Center no later than 10:30 AM CST If you need assistance getting access to base. If you anticipate needing help to get on base, please contact thomas.prospere@us.af.mil and brian.broady@us.af.mil so that there is accurate accounting of personnel. Air Force Carpet Program: As of 18 January 2023, carpet installation shall be accomplished in accordance with the Air Force Carpet Program, using the carpet ordering guide and one of the seven contracts awarded for materials. The Air Force Carpet Program includes modular carpet tiles, roll goods, walk-off tiles, and adhesives. Installation will be managed by local installers We will have to sign everyone into the compound to enter B486. Phones, computers, tablets, cameras, and any blue tooth device are not allowed in the areas we will be going in to. Questions are due by 2 June 2023 by 6:00PM. Quotes are due by 16 June 2023 no later than 3:00PM CST. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, and supervision needed to: 1. Move/lift furniture and return to exact location. 2. Remove and dispose of indicated existing carpet. 3. Remove indicated portions of existing rubber base from wall and columns. 4. Furnish and install new carpet, rubber cove base, door transitions, and LVT. 5. Contractor shall verify all dimensions during site visit. 6. Contractor shall submit physical samples of carpet, transitions, cove base, and LVT to customer prior to installation |
