Daly Road Treatment Facility Modifications

For Construction projects as defined in Section 4115.03 of the Revised Code, the successful Bidder and all of its subcontractors, regardless of tier, will strictly comply with its obligation to pay a rate of wages on the Project not less than the rate of wages fixed for this Project under Section 4115.04 of the Revised Code. Additionally, for such "Construction Projects," the successful Bidder will comply with all other provisions of Chapter 4115 of the Revised Code. This project consists of project is to abandon and demolish portions (inlet channels, vortex separator, and both retention basins) of the existing Daly Road Treatment Facility, while retaining its existing regulator to control downstream underflow capacity. This project is located in Springfield Township, on Daly Road, north of Galbraith Road, in Hamilton County, Ohio Questions on this project or any part of the Contract Documents and other project documents must be sent via e-mail by the established deadline. The deadline for questions is 12:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 8, 2024. A bond for the full amount of the bid in the form of the Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond included in the Bid Documents (which may be scanned, uploaded, and submitted with the electronic bid); or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the City in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (which must be physically submitted to the Purchasing Division office at 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234. Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 prior to the bid closing) As a condition precedent to receiving any payment under the Contract Documents, the General Trades Contractor shall furnish to the City a new, revised Contract Performance and Payment Bond, in the form provided in the Contract Documents and adhering to all other requirements of the Contract Documents, in an amount equal to the General Trades Contractor's bid plus the sum of the bids of all Assigned Contractors who are assigned to the General Trades Contractor. Upon the City's approval of the new, revised Contract Performance and Payment Bond, the Contract Performance and Payment Bond submitted with the General Trades Contractor's bid shall become null and void. This bid is designated as an electronic bid. The bid will NOT be read publicly. No hard copies of bids will be accepted. The City maintains a list of Vendors Debarred from Contracting or Subcontracting with the City may be accessed at: http://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/purchasing or may be furnished in other form upon request. The successful Bidder, who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, shall furnish a Contract Bond in the form included in the Bid Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum.
