Description | For the furnishing and delivery of: PLAYGROUND RECONSTRUCTION SEABROOK RECREATION CENTER The Township Committee of Upper Deerfield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Financial Assistance for their (these) activity(ies) is made possible by a grant from the: New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Division of Housing and Com munity Resources Small Cities Community Devel opment Block Grant Program Phil Murphy, Governor State of New Jersey Sheila Oliver, Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver, Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Each bidder must deposit with their bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total lump sum bid, including all alternates, or $20,000.00, whichever is less, as a guarantee that in the event a contract is awarded to such bidder, he shall promptly execute a contract for work. Upon failure to do so, the bidder shall forfeit the amount of said check or bid bond as liquidated damages and not as penalty. A performance bond, payment bond and/or maintenance bond is required for their contract. Each bidder shall furnish with its bid a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the contractor with the bids required. No bidder may withdraw their bids within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Federal Labor Standards require that Contractors and Sub-Contractors pay the higher of the State or Federal Wage Rates and fringe benefits in effect at the time the contract is signed. Bidders are required to comply with the anti-Discrimination Laws of the State of New Jersey, in particular the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The statutory language aforementioned as required is hereby incorporated into the specifications and the contract with the successful bidder by reference. All bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractor's and all subcontractors' registration certificates or applications for registration through the Federal System for Award Management (SAM). Upon approval of any pending applications for registration, the successful contractor and any subcontractors must submit copies of the approved registration certificates to the owner. SAM registration must be renewed and kept current during the course of the contract. Any corporation or partnership submitting a bid shall submit with their bid, or prior thereto, a list of the names and addresses of all shareholders or partners who own 10% or more of the corporation or partnership.
