2022 Road Improvement Program

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project. Road Improvement Program project for various roads within the Hillside, Saxony and Windswept Developments located within Robbinsville Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. A Base Bid and four (4) Add Alternate Bids are being sought for the project. Scope of work for the Base Bid and four (4) Add Alternates include but are not limited to site clearing and mobilization, traffic control, concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete curb, ADA ramps, HMA milling, HMA surface course paving, HMA base pavement repair, reconstruction of driveway aprons, inlet repair, striping, site restoration, and all other incidentals appurtenant thereto as directed by the Engineer, in a neat, competent, and skilled manner. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. No Bids Are to Be Dropped Off at the Engineer's Office, All bids for the Project must be received before deadline. At that time, sealed bids will be opened and read aloud in public at the Robbinsville Township public meeting room, 2298 Route 33, Robbinsville Township, Mercer County, 08691. No bids will be received after deadline Bidders are informed that all contract work shall be completed within the allocated calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed as shown below: Base Bid 30 Calendar Days Add Alternate A Additional 15 Calendar Days Add Alternate B Additional 15 Calendar Days Add Alternate C Additional 15 Calendar Days Add Alternate D Additional 15 Calendar Days Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. S12101, et seq.). Bidders must provide a Business Registration Certificate prior to or with the bid package per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any bid requirements and/or any non-material bid defects, where such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the Township, and where such rejection or waiver is permitted by law.
