Removal and Replacement of Carpeting

Removal and replacement of carpeting within selected classrooms at Hoover High School. Project Scope The NCCS envisions the following minimum scope of services for the Replacement Carpet within the select classrooms at Hoover High School: 1. Provide estimates in accordance to the (RFP). All carpet should be tile, not broadloom. 2. The total carpet purchase will be equal to or greater than 3,300 square yards. Bids should outline the price per square yard for a purchase of at least that size. A total of 42 classrooms will have carpet replaced, with 40 of them being a traditional classroom, size near 83.3 square yards, and two of them being closer to half that size. Also, bids should outline the cost per linear foot of vinyl (or rubber) cove base. Finally, the price per room for each of the 42 rooms, for the installers to handle each of the following: (a) the carpet to hall seam, (b) floor prep, and (c) removal and disposal of existing carpeting. This price for a, b and c above should be the same for all 42 rooms, even though 2 of the rooms are approximately half the size of the other 40 rooms.
