Description

As of 03/29/2023 Contract amount: $835,483.46 RFP 5337 was cancelled. Contractor shall remove all existing Extreme 8432, 8533 and 7532 Wireless Access Points (WAP) and replace with new wireless access point using new mounting brackets. The contractor shall provide and install the materials to deliver a fully functional and operational network. Contractor shall install protective cages over APs in any Gymnasium. Wireless access point shall be clearly labeled in accordance to Kenosha Unified School Districts naming convention. Vendor will provide a spread sheet by school location with MAC address of each device. Support with integration into current or new wireless control and knowledge transfer must be provided. Access points in the response should meet district specification requirements. See attached specification and pricing worksheet for requirements. The Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive any informality or technicality in any bid/proposal submitted, and to accept any part of a bid/proposal deemed to be in the best interest of KUSD. KUSD reserves the right to negotiate with any company after the bid opening has occurred. The Request for Proposal does not guarantee a purchase will be made. Late bids and bids received via facsimile will not be accepted and shall remain unopened. BACKGROUND The Kenosha Unified School District is the third largest school district in the state, employing over 4,000 individuals and educating approximately 19,000 students. It is located in Kenosha County, Wisconsin and serves the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie, and the Town and Village of Somers. The District contains 41 schools including 22 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, 3 high schools, and 11 charter/choice/specialty schools.
