Description | Fire District Headquarters Boiler Replacement - Contract M- Mechanical Construction Work Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the "Hunt - ington Manor Fire District " , in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount ofthe bid, as a com - mitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a con - tract to perform the work and will ex - ecute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. CERTIFICATION OF BONDING COMPANY IS RE - QUIRED FOR THIS BID, SEE IN - STRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for forty-five (45) The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder or the pro - posals will be rejected within 45 days of the date of opening proposals, sub - ject however, to the discretionary right reserved by the Fire District to waive any or all proposals and to ad - vertise for new proposals if, in its opinion, the best interest of Fire District will thereby be promoted. No bid - der shall withdraw its Bid within 45 days after the formal opening thereof. Thereafter, a bidder may withdraw its Bid only in writing and in advance of the actual award. Document note : Checks or money or - ders shall be made payable to the HUNTINGTON MANOR FIRE DIS - TRICTshould be sent directly to REVplans. Bidder's deposit will be refunded ifthe set is returned to REV in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such drawings and specifications. Non-bidders shall re - ceive partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the amount ofthe de - posit, less the actual cost ofreproduc - tion of the documents if the set is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection ofthe bids covered by such plans and specifications. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Please note REVplans (melville.h2mplanroom.com ) is the designated location and meansfor dis - tributing and obtaining all bid pack - age information. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accu - rate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at melville.h2mplanroom.com.
