Description

Project generally consists of crosswalk improvements at the intersections of Main Street and Hwy 221, Main Street and Sunset Drive, and Main Street and Chestnut Drive. Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing surfaces, trenching for signal installations, installation of traffic signals and pedestrian heads, installation of curbing, ramps, and steel plates, refurbishment and installation of stamped asphalt crosswalks, traffic striping, and landscape. The alternate bids include a stamped asphalt crosswalk at Main Street and Sunset Drive and stamped concrete crosswalks to replace stamped asphalt crosswalks.
