USACE Spk DB Construction - Building 225 Area D Renovation - Hill AFB, UT

Design-build construction services to remove and replace the roof and conduct other renovations to Building 225 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The project is anticipated to include design and construction requirements to remove the existing wood roof deck, roof membrane, insulation, and substrate, which will be replaced with a new structure to eliminate the "sawtooths", a new steel deck, rigid insulation, and single-ply membrane PVC roof. It is anticipated that a sufficient area of slab on grade around steel column base connections must be removed to construct the seismic strengthening of structural steel elements, that steam and condensate piping must be removed and temporary caps at steam penetrations at the walls will be installed, and that fire sprinkler systems under the sawtooths will be removed and relocated to the new upper roof, as required by code
