Beautification Program

Professional design services to develop a beautification plan that will include but is not limited to developing creative landscaping designs, installation and maintenance, and other pedestrian enhancements. The City wants to convey the message that when you enter the City of Stockbridge you are in a special place. The desire is to have a cohesive beautification and identification experience throughout the City. The initial services requested, herein, are for the submittal of all costs associated with the installation and maintenance of shrubs, flowers, etc. in the Campground Road median between the entrance to the Winding Creek Subdivision and Hwy 42 and the Hudson Bridge Road median from the exit ramp onto Hudson Bridge Road from I75 to the QuikTrip.It is the desire of the City of Stockbridge to develop and implement a Gold Standard beautification plan for the City's primary travel corridors. The primary travel corridors currently include the following streets: Campground Road Hudson Bridge Road Jodeco Road Highway 138 North Henry BLVD Tye Street Martin Luther King, Sr. Heritage Trail Flippen Road Davidson Parkway Old Atlanta Road East Atlanta Road Walt Stephens Road The selected firm or individual will work with City of Stockbridge representatives in developing the plan as needed to enhance existing areas. Work may also include but is not limited to adding additional vegetation or changes to existing areas and designing and installing new landscape and hardscape. The successful firm will have the ability to provide planning and design services to accommodate new areas and changes to existing when necessary. When projects arise that require additional as needed services, costs will be negotiated at that time. The City of Stockbridge is seeking professional design services to develop a beautification plan that will include but is not limited to developing creative approaches to landscaping design, installation and maintenance, and other pedestrian enhancements.
