Description

The project includes upgrades to two existing lift stations. At the Industrial Park Lift Station, the project will include the complete replacement and enlargement of the wet well, coating the dry well, pump and motor replacement, and cathodic protection replacement. At the Harvey Street Lift Station, the project will include coating the wet and dry wells, pump and motor replacement, electrical and controls replacement, installation of a standby permanent generator and cathodic protection replacement. A pre-bid conference will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The project is funded through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation which requires that Federal Wage Rates be utilized. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation calls the bidders attention to the conditions of employment, Segregated Facility, Section 3 of HUD Act of 1968, Section 109 and Equal Opportunity. The Village of Shelby reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village.
