Description

Intersection improvements at John Emery Road and County Road 700 N. The work includes removal of existing asphalt pavement; removal of existing trees and vegetation; construction of a new right-turn lane; re-construction and re-paving of the intersection; installation of concrete curb and gutters; traffic pavement marking and signage; trenchless piping; and all other related work and appurtenances. This project is funded by LaPorte County and INDOT through the Rail-Highway Crossing Program (Section 130) to reduce hazards at railway-highway crossings.
