Description

Removal and beneficial use of up to 75,000 tons of Synthetic Gypsum per year generated at its facility at 3100 Adlai Stevenson Drive, Springfield, Illinois. Services offered pursuant to this proposal shall be for a minimum of three years. The proposal should include trucking the material from the 3100 Adlai Stevenson Drive location to an off-site location owned/leased/operated by the bidder. Typical loading hours are 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. Additional hours may be provided with prior communication by Contractor, and approval of City. Trucks will be loaded while parked on a truck scale at the gypsum loading area, and gypsum weights will be determined from the scale readings. On occasions when City has surplus material, that material will be stockpiled at the CWLP Ash Ponds (adjacent to 201 East Lake Shore Drive). On occasions when the supply is depleted at the gypsum loading area, Contractor can obtain the material at the Ash Ponds (while available). The wheel loader at the Ash Ponds is equipped with a bucket scale which will be used to determine gypsum weights.
