Remodeling Work for 106-B, 107-A, and 107-B Roberts Apartments

Bids are for remodeling work to be performed on the following unit(s): 106-B, 107-A, and 107-B Roberts Apartments, Athens AL 35611. The scope of work for this apartment may include the following work: leveling floors, replacing subfloors, installing commercial title, replacing baseboards, replacing crown molding, replacing fixtures, repairing/replacing cabinets, drywall repair and /or replacement, mold remediation, painting, and electrical work. An award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Responsible bidders must have either a general contractor's license or a homebuilder's license from the State of Alabama; a business license for the City of Athens, Alabama; and a general liability insurance policy with at least $1,000,000.00 in coverage. All bidders must certify that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Athens Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors in any bid documents if in the Authority's sole judgment, the best interests of the Authority will thereby be promoted.
