Description

SECURE STORAGE AREA (CLIN 001): a. Contractor shall construct a 130 linear foot (estimated) exterior fence to extend from the existing fence at Bldg 5048 to the southwest side of Bldg 5046 as shown in the provided plans. The constructed fence shall match the exisiting Bldg 5048 fence, to include concrete footing, brick columns, and aproximately 2 ft wide concrete strip between all brick columns. The purpose of the concrete strip between the columns is strictly for maintenance so the fence does not get damaged by landscaping equipment. A manual and lockable vehicle gate will connect the fence to Bldg 5046. The gate shall match the existing gate on the Bldg 5048 side of the lot in style and material. b. Contractor shall renovate 600 sf in the southwest corner of Bldg 5046 to create an additional secure storage area. Install a chain link fence (25 ft estimated) with a double gate from the west side of Bldg 5046 to “Storage Area 1C Comm” as shown in the plans. Install a second chain link fence (3 ft estimated) between the southwest corner of “Storage Area 1C Comm” and the south wall of Bldg 5046 in order to create a storage area of 600 sf as shown in the plans. The constructed fences shall match existing fence used for storage areas in the building. The contractor shall reconfigure building support trusses if necessary to create the secure storage area. c. Contractor shall install the insulation that is falling off the wall and replace missing insulation in the renovated 600 sf secure storage area. d. Contractor shall provide hookups for a camera at the location shown on the plans. Contractor shall install one power outlet and one communications outlet supplied with EMT conduit from the utility room to the camera. The camera height shall be coordinated with the COR. BUILDING ENVELOPE REPAIR (CLIN 002): a. Front office areas have known roof leaks. Contractor shall prevent any further water penetration in Building 5046. Contractor shall install metal wall panel sheeting over the exterior and add a metal cap to completely encapsulate existing capstone. Contractor shall use equivalent architectural sheeting in color, material, and design to match existing metal sheeting and cap on the opposite side exterior wall of Building 5046. See “Figure 1”. b. Contractor shall replace ceiling tile damaged by water in the northern area of building 5046.
