Description | Gessner Engineering Job No. 22-0076 Christensen Building Group, LLC, as Construction Manager at Risk, on behalf of City of Bellville, Texas, will receive sub-contractor/vendor proposals for the construction of the Bellville Police Department, as designed by Burns Architecture, LLC. Proposals and qualification statements will be received and opened by Christensen Building Group, from interested proposers, subcontractors/vendors until 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 25th in the presence of the Owner and Architect at the offices of Christensen Building Group at 15425 North Freeway, Suite 330, Houston, Texas 77090, Phone: 281-206-4418 and Fax: 281-823-7582. Construction Manager Contact: Jordan Brown, jordan@christensenbuilding.com Drawings and specifications will be available for review at the offices of Christensen Building Group, and electronically via www.buildingconnected.com. All proposals shall remain valid for sixty (60) days. See supplemental CM Specification in proposal documents for additional details. The Owner, Architect/Engineer and Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal process, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. By submitting a proposal, each proposer agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer, Construction Manager and their respective employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, and/or recommendation of any proposal; waiver of any requirements under the Proposal Documents, or the Contract Documents; acceptance or rejection of any proposals; and award of a Contract. The Bellville Police Station is a new approximately 8,036 square feet building. Construction materials and work required includes but is not limited to: Concrete slab-on-grade, concrete foundation, CMU walls non-load bearing), CMU and brick veneer, pre-engineered metal building system, minimal conventional framed structural steel, standing seam metal roofing, standard hollow metal frames and doors, security furnishings, security electronics, standard door hardware, standard and detention glazing, acoustical lay-in ceilings, acoustical wall treatments, architectural woodwork, vinyl base, signage, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, miscellaneous metal fabrications, drywall, ceramic tile, painting, gutters and downspouts. The site work includes concrete curb and paving, retaining walls, site lighting, sidewalks, parking area striping, flagpole, and utilities. |
