River Road Blacktop Project

The Town of Emery, Price County, Wisconsin, will accept sealed bids for the resurfacing of approximately 1/2 mile of River Road, T37N, R2E in the Town of Emery from the corner of sections 28, 29, 32, 33 at County Road D north 1/2 mile on River Road. Currently, the 1st 1/4 mile of River Road is gravel over blacktop and the 2nd 1/4 mile is gravel. Specifications: Grind and pulverize and shape existing 20 foot-wide surface at County Road D north 1/4 mile on River Road and overlay entire 1/2 mile with 3 1/2" hot mix asphalt" for a 20' finished mat. Shoulder on both sides should be 3' wide with 3/4 "crushed aggregate base course applied. Bid must include price per ton for hot mix asphalt and price per ton for aggregate. Bidders must comply with all transportation standards for town roads and abide by all environmental requirements (Chapter 2014 and 206, Wis Stats respectively). Bidder's be aware that in the event a prevailing wage rate determination is ordered, the contractor will be responsible for compliance.
