Description

The Project consists of the replacement of two sanitary sewer manholes and installation of 165 LF of 12" PVC sanitary sewer main including erosion and sediment control, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, and pavement restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Upon request and receipt of the document charge indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Electronic copies (.pdf files) of the Bidding Documents will be available upon request and will require a prospective Bidder's acknowledgement of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates.
