Description

The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications for Sealing Windows and Replacing Water Damaged Materials at the National Biological Control Lab (NBCL), Building 80, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center in Stoneville, Mississippi. The work to be done consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with the statement of work. Principal Features of Work: The Contractor shall remove the existing aluminum storefront fixed window framing and glazing as scheduled on the drawings and discard. New aluminum storefront windows will be provided within the existing rough openings as noted on the drawings. Water damaged interior gypsum board at the jambs and below the stools will be removed, replaced and shall be painted. The existing plastic laminate stools will be removed and be replaced with solid surface units throughout the building as detailed and scheduled on the drawings. Designated aluminum storefront framing at existing doors will be removed and discarded; doors will be retained for reinstallation in new storefront framing. New aluminum thresholds and door bottoms will be installed at existing storefront doors.
