Description

The Work is for removal of Coke County Bridge specified as TxDOT 041-AA0122-12 TR. This closed bridge is located on Sand Rd east of the intersection of Hayrick Rd and Sand Rd in Coke County. All demolition of the structure and disposal of all the materials will be included. Should there be any salvage value of the steel in the bridge, bidder will be allowed to retain said steel. Bidder will then construct a low water crossing. As defined herein; remove all debris for approximately 50 feet on both sides of the middle of the roadbed for 150 feet starting at the midpoint of the creek bed going both east and west, then for approximately 50 feet by 20 feet in the creek bed incorporate a crushed aggregate base for a low water crossing , then install a concrete pad with a minimum of 350 psi concrete with a heavy broom finish 8” thick with 1/2” rebar tied in every 12” and 12” footer with 4, ½” rebars bars linearly installed in the footer will be incorporated along the exterior of the pad below the 8 inch pad. Then for 150 feet from the edge of the low water crossing establish a crushed aggregate base 10 inches deep compacted and bladed, 20 feet wide running east and west from low water crossing for 150 feet each.
